What Are Stability Matrix and Stable Diffusion?

Stable Diffusion is an open-source image generator without NSFW filters.
Stability Matrix is just a program that makes it easy to install any version of Stable Diffusion.

How to Install Stability Matrix in 3 Steps
The Installation requires 3 Steps:
Step 1) Download the Stability Matrix
Step 2) Run the installer.
Step 3) Choose your preferred interface.
I’ll detail each step below:
Step 1) Downloading the Stability Matrix Installer:
Click here to download the Stability Matrix from the official website.
Step 2) Running the Installer
After downloading and opening the installer, click “Continue” on the next screen:
Choose the folder where you want to install it (this is where images and assets will be saved) and click continue:
Step 3) Which Version/Interface of Stable Diffuse Should I Install?
There are various interfaces for using Stable Diffusion.
With Stability Matrix, you can install most of the Stable Diffusion Interfaces.
The main ones are:
- Fooocus: Ideal for beginners, few buttons, few functions, good results easy.
- Automatic1111 WebUI:Ideal for intermediate users, with more buttons and flexibility
- ComfyUI: For advanced users, the most complex and powerful interface.
For beginners, I recommend starting with Fooocus. After generating some images, try using Automatic1111 WebUI.
Select the interface you want to use and it will be installed:
While installing the interface, you can select some models to use.
Select the models you like and click Download:
The download of the model and version you selected will begin, just wait for the download to finish:
How to Run Stable Diffusion on the Installed Interface
After the download finishes, just click on ”🚀 Launch” and it will open automatically.
After clicking “Launch,” you’ll see codes running., don’t worry, just wait, and the browser will open.
If it doesn’t open automatically, wait for the code to provide the following links:
First link (http://127.0.0.1:XXXX):
- Click on it to access Stable Diffusion only on this machine.
The second link (ends in “.gradio.live”****):
- Allows you to access Stable Diffusion on your phone.
- You can share this link with someone else, enabling them to use the Stable Diffusion installed on your computer.
